a. Account InformationWhen you sign in with Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address from Google.
This information is used only to authenticate you and to link your subscription or settings to your account.
We do not access your contacts, Drive, calendar, or any other Google data.b. Voice Recordings and Transcription DataWhen you dictate text, short audio snippets are transmitted securely to our servers to perform speech-to-text transcription.
Audio is processed ephemerally (in memory only) and is not stored or retained after transcription is completed.
The resulting text is temporarily cached on your device and never shared with third parties.c. Usage and Diagnostics DataWe use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous information such as device type, language, session duration, and feature usage.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and performance data to improve stability.
This data is aggregated and does not include personally identifiable information.d. Subscription and Purchase InformationPayments and subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play Billing.
Google Play processes your payment details; we never receive your full card information.
We store only the purchase token and subscription status needed to verify your entitlement.e. Automatically Collected Technical DataYour device may provide non-identifying data such as IP address, Android version, and device model for security and debugging.2. Data SecurityAll data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Although no electronic transmission is 100 % secure, we maintain commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information.4. Data Retention and DeletionVoice recordings are processed ephemerally and not stored.Account and subscription data are retained only while your account is active.You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by tapping the logout button in app, followed by 'Delete Account'or emailing [email protected]
.Some data (e.g., billing records) may be retained as required by law.5. Children’s PrivacyDicta is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.6. International TransfersYour data may be processed on servers located in the UK, EU, or other regions where our providers (such as Google Cloud and Firebase) operate, always under adequate security protections.7.
